How do e-cigarettes work? A guide

3. Inhalation: Inhaling produces vapour in the mouth and lungs, which triggers the continuous activation of the battery and heating element.
4. Exhalation: After inhaling, the vapour is exhaled. It either has no distinct odour or gives off a scent that depends on the aroma of the E-Liquids used.
5. Automatic switch-off: Many disposable e-cigarettes have an automatic shut-off function to prevent overheating and conserve battery life. The heating process is stopped after a set period of time or once a predetermined amount of vapour has been produced.
